This last week was the best spring break ever :]
Monday, March 3.
I went over Max's apartment around 10 and we had such a good time. There weren't a lot of people over at all, so it was really relaxing. Nick, Vargo, and Freyja were over along with George and Dalton. I stayed until about 2. The apartment is such a nice place to be when nothing is going on :]
And HAPPY CASIMIR PULASKI DAY! We forgot to celebrate :[
Tuesday, March 4.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CLAYTON!
Kristen went to school!!
After school, I hung out with Kristen for a little bit, and then Jade called! We picked her up, and went to Body Revolutions downtown. What's up, most painful experience of my life thus far? Everyone there was so nice though :D We should just start going there to hang out with the workers, who needs body mods anyway?
The roads were slightly treacherous after continuous heavy snowfall for three hours, so it took us ~45 minutes to get from downtown to Westlake on Lorain. What a joke!
Wednesday, March 5.
Kristen didn't go to school!!
Haay snow day.
Wednesday was pretty okay for the most part. Max came over and we went to My Mind's Eye to get Kristen her birthday present! Then we hung out with Kristen and Zack for the first time in forever, and it was nice getting that group together again. However, Max was having a really tough time (paying bills, rent, flat, lost debit card, etc...) so it wasn't easy cheering him up :[. I felt so bad; it seems that nothing ever works out for Max lately, but there's not a whole lot anyone can do about it. Needless to say, he was extremely fed up and was pretty down for the majority of Wednesday.
We drove around and got as much finished for Max as we could (going to a couple banks, Tri C...). After that, we went back to my house, and, because all four of us were hungry and flat broke, we scavenged up enough change to buy 4 two topping burritos at Chipotle. Haha, we're addicted.
Later, we dropped Zack off and went back to Max's to watch Fight Club! It was soo much better than I thought it'd be ! Kristen and I went home around 2.
And Max is the sweetest boy in the whole world!
Thursday, March -9- 6.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KRISTEN!!!
Now that she's legal, we smoked cigarettes and watched porn all day!
And by that I mean Kristen didn't go to school that day! She came over and I gave her her present, and then Chris called! We went to the vet with him to get bb Bjorn and he slobbered everywhere. Bjorn, I mean. Not Chris. We listened to Arabic music and sang along!
After that, Kristen and I went back to Body Revolutions ;]. We talked about Rocko's Modern Life with the cutie-not-Matt-Damon-look-alike. Kristen got a call from her mom and it was only us and three of the workers in the room and you hear Kristen go, "Hey Mom." *pause* "Oh, I'm at Lauren's." and everyone laughed at her. It was cute.
After Kristen was "reborn", she went out to eat with her family and then called me back. We went to Mike Ruane's house for a couple hours! And then went home.
Friday, March 7.
Yes, Kristen DID go to school that day! By the end of the week, she was 2 for 5! That's 40%! Good job :D!
We hung out at my house all day I think. Jade came over first and we played Guitar Hero for a bit. Then Kristen showed up, and then Chris and Marco. We did laundry (such a fun activity!) and watched YouTube videos and talked and waited for Scott to show up... FOUR HOURS LATE. Totally unacceptable. Haha, he was in the car for 7 hours; ¡qué lástima! The roads were so bad though.
We stayed at my house for a bit, talked, ate dinner, then went to Chris's and met up with Alyssa! We sat around his family room, talked, watched YouTube videos... woah. De ja vu. Haha, we went in his basement and played charades, talked some more, laughed too much, played guitar and Big Booty, watched Arrested Development, and oh my gosh, it was such a great night! It was perfect :]!
Saturday, March 8.
We definitely made plans to hang out and go to Cici's that day, but over the course of the night, we got about 18 inches of snow, so everything was kind of... ruined. And my cold was at its worst (by the way, I had a cold since Tuesday ish). Scott and I cried all morning. Haha, maybe not, but we were pretty disappointed... UNTIL CHRIS CALLED and offered to pick us up to build a snow fort in his yard! Hooray for 4 wheel drive!
First he picked up Kristen and then me and Scott around 3ish. We went out in his backyard, realized the snow wasn't prime for packing, abandoned the snow fort idea, and played in the snow instead (we're all 17-19! It's totally normal!). Then Marco came outside and we tried to build the fort, but it took too long and Kristen and I were cold and Bjorn tackled one-armed Jacob, so we just went inside.
We had hot chocolate, Marco serenaded everyone, and we found out what "vixen" meant in Swiss-German! Then we went in the library since it was much warmer than the living room and we watched Family Guy for an eternity, ate dinner, sang happy birthday to Chris's dad, watched About a Boy and a few episodes of the Sarah Silverman show! What started off as a terrible day turned out to be one of the best days of my spring break :] <3
Sunday, March 9.
Scott and I went to Kristen's house in the early afternoon! We hung out in her room and talked and listened to music. It was simple but really great. When Max called back, we went to his apartment and hung out for a couple hours maybe. He was really really sick so we didn't stay too long :[ My poor Maxwell! I wish there were more I could've done for him.
Scott, Kristen, and I went back to my house, packed my stuff, did some laundry, talked to Chris on video chat, found out that if you whistle on video chat it makes a horror movie-esque screaming noise, talked with JP for a couple minutes, Scott and Kristen hacer amored in my cama, and then Scott and I left for BG :[.
We had such a good ride back! I drove!, and we had a good talk and listened to music that could make us cry because it's so good and tried to think of excuses to go back to Westlake once we were there.
"I think I left my room key and PED at home... we have to go back."
"The car's locked?? I left my car keys at your house, we have to turn around!"
I love my life!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT!
Yeah, I didn't do a whole lot on Thursday... had my portfolio review for 2D Foundations, and I have a B in the class :]. He kept saying, "You're capable of an A" but oh my gosh, I work so hard as is! I don't have time for this!
Friday, February 29.
ONE CLASS! English and Chorus were canceled, so I only had Spanish at 8:30, yuck.
I packed and then Scott and I headed to Westlake! We got in around 3, hung out at my house, Kristen came over, we got Jade, drove to Strongsville to get Sarah, and then we went back to my house to eat dinner! Max came over too. Then we went to Mara's house and met up with Chris, Marco, Lexy, Mara, and Lee! Sarah, Kristen, Scott, and I went up to Blockbuster to rent a movie (Camp Daze), and just our luck, they didn't have it. We found a movie we DID want to rent, then found out we couldn't rent it becuase none of us were members. Ugh. Then all the workers FORCED us to buy some movies, but we refused and left promptly.
Back at Mara's, we played foozball, pool, Rock Band, and Scott and Chris discovered they could jump through their arms and Scott could jump through his leg! We watched part of the Newsies and everyone fell asleep.
After Kristen, Scott and I dropped Sarah and Jade off, I fell asleep at the wheel 3 times. Oops! At least Scott was asleep in the back so he didn't know!

Saturday, March 1.
Scott, Kristen, and I went to the Metroparks :]. It was fun, but really really cold. All our socks were soaked! We visited Max at his apartment too. Scott discovered that he was connected to Nick and Vargo, haha. He saw Nick play on Warped Tour two or three years ago, and Vargo has a trailer in Scott's town! Weird!
Later, the three of us went to Lake Erie and had an arctic adventure. That was a lot of fun!
We got back to my house and had to stall Kristen for a good... 3 hours because of her SURPRISE birthday party! Haha, I FORCED her to go to her house because we were "meeting Jenn and Alexis there" and Kristen was sad because she didn't want to hang out at her house at all.
When we got to Kristen's, she was SO confused because there were a ton of cars there. Oh geez, it was funny listening to her try and figure out why everyone was there.
When we were inside, everyone shouted "SURPRISE!" and Kristen was even more confused! She's like, "DID YOU KNOW THE WHOLE TIME?!?!?"

The party was a whole lot of fun! We hung out with Alexis, Jenn, Alyssa, Chris, Marco, Frankie, Alex, Sam, Jeremy, Jasmine, Marty, Emily, Rabatsky, and probably a couple others that I'm forgetting about. But anyhow, it was so much fun <3
Sunday, March 2.
HAPPY ONE YEAR TO ME AND MAX!
Scott left my house in the morning! Max and I hung out around 5. He took me out to Olive Garden for dinner which was really nice and then he surprised me and took me to the JCP parking lot where we had our first kiss <3
We got back to his apartment for some "us" time, but that didn't work out so well. There were a ton of people over the apartment (like usual) so we didn't really do much. We left around 10:15 ish and he was just going to drop me off at home. Maxwell ended up coming inside and we hung out until 2.
Even though like.. NOTHING went according to plan and the day had its rough spots, it was still really great spending time with Max. Aw, I love him so so much :]
Monday, March 3.
I woke up at noon! I did laundry, played piano, played Guitar Hero (alone, haha, I'm so cool), did the dishes, then went on a bike ride with Kristen!! We went to World Market and then Panera to study her spanish. It was like 63 today, and it was a lot of fun riding bikes with Kristen! Max was at the bank when he randomly decided to call me which is right by Panera, so he stopped in and hung out for a couple minutes before he had work!
Kristen and I then decided we wanted to go see the free Arcade Fire show downtown. We used her bimbo GPS system. The first time it started talking I freaked out and shouted, 'OH MY GOD, I THOUGHT WE WERE CRASHING!!" Oh geez!
We got to the Beachland Ballroom and it was absoloutly packed. Besides, it was 18 and over and Kristen isn't 18 for another 3 days!
So we decided to go to Coventry instead. Then we decided not to once we got there, haha. So we tried to find My Mind's Eye in Lakewood and had the hardest time ever! BUT it was right by Angelo's and Kristen wouldn't stop talking about pizza!
Hahaha we had way too much fun <3
We got back to my house, ate dinner, and then she left. I'm going to Max's apartment right now, so that should be fun!

So my weekend didn't live up to my expectations at all, haha.
Friday, February 22.
Hah, well first, Max was late picking me up. I didn't mind much, but the only thing was that he had work and he couldn't afford to be late again. As soon as I got out of class, we left!
We were really behind schedule, and we had to stop for gas, so we went to the Get Go on Dover and Center Ridge. I told Max that I'd have Kristen pick me up since she lives .1 second away from there so he could just concentrate on getting to work in time.
So Kristen picked me up and we had a lot of fun! We went to her house and talked, then got Jade and went to Chipotle! Then we went to Giant Eagle, back to Jade's house, then like everything that could go wrong did go wrong for Jade :( so Kristen and I left so she could figure everything out. We went to the metroparks (WOAH big surprise!) and drove around and listened to Anathallo and talked about how talented they are :D!
Maxwell called when he got off work and so we all met up at his apartment... where there were like a ton of people. It amazes me every single time how they manage to get so many people in such a small apartment. I'm not one for crowds.
Whatever.
So there was no way on god's green earth we were going to be able to hang out in there, and it was getting late anyway so Kristen just decided to go back home. Max and I partook in certain activities with his friends (...and then by ourselves, bahah) and finally went to sleep around 3... with like 5 other people in the room? We were going to have the living room to ourselves, but Max never told Amanda and George he didn't want anyone at the apartment that weekend, sooo yeah. A ton of people. No alone time.
Whatever.
Saturday, February 23.
WELL Maxwell got up at 5:15 to go to work, so I woke up in a room with a bunch of Max's friends who I don't know very well... besides Josh, but yeah.
Then I got a surprise visit from Aunt Flo (at least I'm not pregnant, I guess??), wasn't prepared, so I had to ask Nick to walk over to CVS with me to get tampons, hahah. Awkward much? haha, it wasn't that bad, but still. Anyhow, I spent the day at the apartment with Nick, Vargo, and Amanda. That wasn't bad either, but it just kind of sucked that I came home that weekend to spend time with Max, and so far I hadn't really gotten that great of an opportunity.
Max got of work and we got dinner with Amanda and Nick. Saturday night was not so great. Lots of awkwardness all night and I got to sleep on the floor, and then Sunday morning Max and I got in a fight.
Sunday, February 24.
Yeah, first thing Sunday morning, Max and I got in an argument... it didn't last very long, but it still sucked. We showered and then went out to get breakfast at Denny's (sick, the one in Berea doesn't even come close to North Olmsted's!). It was one of the worst breakfasts ever (food wise), but I had a good time with Maxwell regardless. We went back to the apartment and had the whole place to ourselves for the FIRST TIME ALL WEEKEND!
So what did we do?
Well watch a skate video, of course!
(among other things I shouldn't post on the internet that would 1. make my readers uncomfortable, and 2. get me arrested?!?!?)
Then we watched part of Lords of Dogtown (I liked it, I wish we had a chance to finish it) and then headed back to BG. Max stayed the night but he took up the WHOLE ENTIRE BED so I got to sleep in Kat's old bed, haha. I slept so well though! So that was a plus.
Monday, February 25.
Max and I got breakfast, got him some food for the apartment at Chily's, and then he went home :(.
Then I had class, blah blah blah.
I hung out with Scott and Sarah which was SO much fun, oh my gosh. We watched Kyle XY, talked about how he's gay in real life, looked up videos of him on youtube (becuase apparently there is a commercial where you can hear his real voice!), accidentally ran across this other movie he was in instead, stumbled on a gay porn site, and oh my gosh. It was so eventful!! We laughed way too much <3
Tuesday, February 26.
Homework. All day.
I spilled India ink on my WHITE computer while doing an art project. Since then, I've managed to get most of it off, though!

I don't even think we're doing anything for our one year. We were going to go out to eat, but remembered that we're both poor, so I think we're just going to spend the day together. It doesn't really even matter if we do something or not. Just as long as I can spend the day with him, I can't complain!!

Thursday, February 21.
Well today has been a good day! I had VCT at 8:30. It's supposed to go until like 11:30, but we got out at 9:30, and then my 2D Foundations class was cancelled! So that's been nice. I talked to Jade and Lexy on webcam, oh my goodness, it was a good time.
I've been doing better at the rec! I'm able to run a little longer (not much, but hey, it's something!) and I talked to Nathan last night and he gave me running tips. He's like, "We can go running when you come home!" :] Too bad my sprint is like his brisk walk.
Anyway, I applied at Heinen's again earlier. I hate the stupid online application! It took like an hour, oh my gosh. I do not have this kind of time on my hands, haha. I'm applying at Clague Pool again too when I go home on spring break! I'm pretty positive I'll get the job at the pool because I've worked there for two summers and they're like always short staffed, so go me. Hopefully Heinen's will take me back (UMM never thought I'd use that sequence of words in my life... ever...)

edit: Okay, so on the online application, it asks "If you were a former employee, what was your Heinen's ID number?" which was a 5 digit number we had to punch in to clock in/out, and for the life of me, I couldn't remember it! I put in "65784" and then I'm like, "Nah, that can't be it... where did I get that number from?? I probably just made it up."
So after I posted this entry, I went to the bathroom and without second thought I punched in the bathroom code... which was 65784, hahah, it didn't even OCCUR to me! Oh, my life.

Monday, February 18.
Yesterday was a really good day for the most part. I couldn't complain... I went through my usual Monday schedule, a bit more tired than usual because I only slept for 5 hours the night before, but other than that, my day was going pretty well.
You see, the only thing getting me through the majority of last week, and the only thing that would've gotten me through this week was the fact that I was supposed to go to Berea on Friday and spend the weekend at the apartment with Max and I had plans to see Kristen and Jade. Well Max calls me last night and he's like, "Lauren I have bad news."
Umm. of course he does.
I knew what it was before he said it.
This weekend wasn't going to be able to work out for some reason or another.
What a surprise.
Does anything ever go according to plan for us?
No.
So needless to say, I was extremely upset when he told me he had work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And not like little four hour shifts... we're talking the 8-9 hour shifts when he'd have to go to bed early and get up early to be gone all day and come back in time to go back to sleep... leaving no time for us.
But yeah, I cried a lot. A lot. I blame it on PMS (I've been bloated for a week and my face looks like a battle field), so obviously I've been overreacting, but I miss Max SO much. And then just like... everything. I felt like everything had been ruined... my plans to see Max, Kristen, Jade, and everyone at the apartment... and my motivation to get me through the week. And next week. Blah.
I hate being away from everyone. I mean, I love my friends here, but I miss everyone at home so much.
Ugh, just when I was getting used to college, right?

Friday, February 8.
Maxwell and I went home! We left around 1:30 and had a very nice ride home :]. After Max dropped me off, he had to go to work. Afterwards, I hung out with Kristen, but I don't remember what we did.
Saturday, February 9.
Kristen and I went out and got a couple job applications! Then we went over Travis's and didn't do much of anything for a while... besides take shoe baths. Then we got in Kristen's car and drove through the Metroparks and Travis yelled at the people who were walking or jogging.
After that, we went to the skatepark! We met Max, Charlie, and some of his friends up there. A little while later, it started to get dark and cold, so Kristen and I went back to her house so she get ready for her soccer game. We stopped at the apartment and picked up Max and Amanda and went to Kristen's soccer game! Amanda was the soccer mom! Kristen's team lost :'(
We went back to the apartment and Kristen took a 20 minute nap, forgot where she was, wouldn't stop talking, and her brain floated out of her head. She and Max were weight watchers experts and gave me 1/4 of an Oreo. Then Kristen stole two of my Oreos and I whined about it for the rest of the night!
Sunday, February 10.
Kristen came over in the morning and we went to Plato's Closet and I bought jeans! We went back to my house and sat on my couch for like... ever and talked about things that were real and fake, time, religion, science, music... then Max came over! I asked him some questions like if time was real and he thought that Kristen and I had totally lost our minds! So we went to Chipotle! We saw Chris and Ryanna up there and ate with them. Max fell in love with Chris's shoes!
THEN Max drove me back to BG!

Friday, February 15.
I hung out with Sarah when classes were over! It was fun becuase I haven't seen her at all this semester pretty much. We talked, listened to music, watched youtube videos, got Chipotle (I ordered a two side burrito and the people looked at me like I had lost all my marbles...), and then went back to her room and took really weird pictures, haha.
We went to Clayton's room and met up with Clayton, Nick, and JP. Sarah got sick so she went back to her room :[. So the four of us drove around and had a fun night... :]. We got food, went to the kitchenette in Offenhauer and hung out in there forever, then went back up to Clayton's room. JP left and Nick and I slept over.
Saturday, February 16.
Nick and I walked back to Harshman around 11:30. I got breakfast with Sarah and then I met up again with Nick and Clayton around 3ish. Sarah went back to her room to do homework and Nick, Clayton and I went out on a picture taking excursion!
We found this abandoned house in Perrysburg, so we went inside and took 283480 pictures! It was awesome becuase everything was so old! There was an old piano that didn't even work, a dress still hanging on its hanger, newspapers from 1961, a check that wasn't cashed, old clothes that had just been abandoned with a laundry basket still on top of them... it was so neat :]!! It was freezing though, oh my gosh. After maybe an hour and a half in the house and the barn, we went to another abandoned house up the street, but it smelled like dead people so we didn't go in.
We went back to BG and picked up Scott and proceeded to have another great night. We ended up getting lost somewhere east of Perrysburg and we had no idea how to get back. We stopped at McDonalds and ate fries... I like... forgot where we were and I was like, "Guys, let's go to the Sundial." and they all busted out laughing and Clayton goes, 'LAUREN!! Do you know where the FUCK we are/!??!" Hahaha oh my gosh, how embarassing.
WELL the good news is we eventually found our way back to BG! We went to Clayton's room, Scott left, we watched Chicago, and then we went back to Harshman. I passed out at like midnight and got up at 11:30!

Went to the rec with Scott, got breakfast, and then I've done pretty much nothing since then!

Wednesday, February 6.
I went to the rec and ate dinner with Scott and did homework during any and all of my free time. I <3 college??
Oh yeah, and I talked to Mom about the whole photography major thing, and she said if I wanted to do that to either double major or minor because photography is such a hard field to get into... which I knew, but still. I mean, you can do anything pretty much with a degree as long as you have one.
And here's something fun: when I got back from the rec last night, I went to take a shower. I left my door unlocked because I always do because no one is ever in my hall. While I was in the shower, my RA BROKE INTO MY ROOM to do the fire safety check and just to be a whore, she locked my door when obviously I didn't have my keys because they were RIGHT on the desk. Honestly. So I got back to my room and I had Hayley get a lockout key for me while I hung out in the hallway in my towl. How classy! Then on my desk I had a friendly reminder from Becky saying, "Move the stuff from the other desk and closet within 48 hours - I'll be back to check!" Seriously, I dont' have a roommate, you can't really believe that I'll only use the half of the room I'm paying for.
...good thing she didn't check the drawers... I'm using those too!
Thursday, February 7.
Haha okay, so Tuesday night, I didn't sleep at all. I got maybe an hour of sleep and I got out of bed and did homework from 5:30 AM until 8 when I got ready for my 8:30 class. I took a 45 minute nap, and the rest of Wednesday was pretty full, so naturally I was EXHAUSTED.
I got to bed Wednesday at a decent hour, around midnight I think, and I had to get up at 7:30 for class. I figured that would be enough sleep, right?
Wrong.
Frickin 2:38 in the morning, the fire alarm goes off and everyone had to evacuate the building. Are you kidding me. So we all got to stand outside in the snow in our PJs... real great! AHH I hate BG sometimes!
But Max is coming up tonight!! :D Can't wait to see him!

Oh geez, my life is terribly unexciting.
I wish I had more of an update, but I truly don't! My schedule pretty much consists of: homework, art projects, working out, eating, sleeping, repeat [in some order or another].
Things have been better between me and Max! He's coming up here on Thursday and then we're going home Friday after class :D I've been feeling better lately, too. Excellent!
Today in VCT 103, we had a guest speaker! He's a photographer and was telling us different things we could do with photography and different fields of photography. I really am considering it as a major now! I know that I sort of lack in the whole "talent" department, but I guess the only way to remedy that is shoot, shoot, shoot! And perhaps an SLR instead of a P&S, hm? I was thinking of maybe focusing on Wedding Photography or Wildlife Photography... but again, I don't really know. Just thinking!
